Project's actvities

The Assoċjazzjoni ta' l-Organizzazzjonijiet mhux Governattivi G©¤awdxin, created on the 1¡Æ of August 1993, is an umbrella organization open to all non-governmental organisations on the island of Gozo (Malta), whose primary objective is the cooperation promotion between NGOs civil society and the development of their interests.
In order to achieve these objectives the same organism has decided to involve its member associations in an European perspective engaging in a project with Europe Direct Centre of Potenza (the EURO-NET association), in order to develop the leadership and the management skills, to acquire experience about global management of projects and about administrative management of funds and human resources in the European framework.
The program "NGOS EXPERIENCING EUROPE - ILLUSTRATING IT AT HOME" (community project title approved by the European Commission with the Leonardo Da Vinci - Mobility) aims also to find and to develop local partnerships in order to create partnerships in future projects.
In fact, among the activities planned (where partner organisations are kept busy for 2 weeks in Potenza from 01 to 15 September 2008), will be a meeting between 3 Maltese representatives of Gozo (Bicker Mary Theresa, Bellamy Maria Carmela and Caramel Camilleri) , the director of the Europe Direct centre of the European Commission in Potenza (Antonino Imbesi) and the Municipal Administration (with the Mayor Vito Santarsiero) to determine if there are the conditions to develop programs together.
