The project will contribute to a reduction of violence among adolescent girls and boys especially in streets and in parks.
The aim is to permit firstly to violence experienced young people (as victims as well as perpetrators) to receive a training in this field to develop a new reflection of violent behaviour.
Secondly through young people will promite whta thy learn in the training phase and they will operate as multipliers on the street and in the Parks with creative methods as the street work, the organization of events and sports initiatives, a documentary film project, etc.
The Daphne project is born from the European dimension of the phenomenon of youth violence on the streets and in parks and it coinvolves several European organizations, who are working in the field of youth and violence: the objective is to reflect on arguments such as gender role expectations, cultural characteristics, violent behaviour and, on the same time, to promote the participatory approach of young people as multipliers.
