In the framework of the call for proposals EACEA/12/10 – Youth in Action - Action 4.5: Support to information activities for young people and those active in youth work and youth organisations

 

 Virtu@l Volunteer” aims to create a culture of virtual volunteerism among participating countries by empowering grassroots youth organization to use cyberspace as an efficient tool to promote youth participation and activism.

The activities foreseen include:

-            a preparation meeting in Italy,

-            6 local level researches on the topic online activism,

-            development of the project web page in all the languages of the partner organizations,

-            implementing of an E-learning training course hosted by project web page,

-            development of a training curricula,

-            a training for youth workers in Romania,

-            6 different local workshops organized in each participating country,

-            development of an manual of good practices and an awareness video,

-            an awareness raising campaign organized jointly for 3 days in each participating country

-            and a evaluation meeting organized at the end of the project in Turkey.

Promotional materials (brochures, posters, flyers, badges, magnets, hats and T-shirts) will be produced as well.

Dates of project implementation: January 1th 2011-January 31th 2012

The project is classified as action n.193095-2010-4.5-RO

N.B.: from about June 2011 our organism and the CEIPES have dropped the realisation of the project because the coordinator has not realised regularly its task and has not sent the necessary contracts of cooperation  neither the funds necessary for the implementation of the activities foreseen.
