02-Meeting in Slovenia

realized in Ljubljana in the period 12-14 february 2010


From 14 to 18 February 2010 was held in Slovenia in the city of Ljubljana, the second meeting of the project AMBIANCE-Ambitious CHALLENGE - ACTIVE CITIZENS OF EUROPE (Action No. 2009-1-CY1-GRU06-00492-5) made in the framework of the LLP Grundtvig Partnerships. The meeting held at the CNVOS - CENTRE FOR INFORMATION SERVICE, CO-OPERATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF NGOS, was attended by two delegates of our Europe Direct Centre, the Dr. Marianna Carlucci and the Dr. Valentina Garramone, and two young students, Nicola Maiorino and Angelo Megale (who met in Slovenia a score of their peers). All the young participants of the various partners of the initiative, have been engaged in cultural activities and visits to centers such as the ŠKIS, the MSS, the ŠOS, the Scouts, the volunteer center and rehabilitation of youth and the same CNVOS. Together with the delegation of Romania, Spain, Lithuania, Poland, United Kingdom, Estonia and Cyprus, the staff took part in the meetings, during which were discussed the issues related to the six training modules covered by the project (the values of active European citizenship ; European history and its impact on member countries and the world, consumers ethical 's European Union - facts and figures, economy and trade; human rights and empowerment, art, music and culture of every nation in Europe) . At the end of three days of meetings it was decided unanimously to design and build a game aimed at young people with the aim of promoting awareness of the EU.
