The European initiative called "Training registry of the Modern Business Services sector" (acronym “Register BSS sector”) was approved by the EACEA (European Education and Culture Executive Agency) as project n.101132877 within the ERASMUS-EDU call -2023-PI-FORWARD-LOT3 (i.e. Partnerships for Innovation - Forward Looking Projects) in the ERASMUS-LS Actions (i.e. ERASMUS Lump Sum Grants).
The objective of the project is to create a Training Register for the Modern Business Services sector (BSS - Business Services Sector) and to promote and disseminate virtual reality/augmented reality (VR/AR) tools as innovative training methods. Training offers will be included in the register which will give the opportunity to acquire high quality qualifications, i.e. recognized qualifications which have passed the formal and legal validation deriving from the relevant legislation in the partner countries. The register will include training offers separately for each country and will refer to the European Qualifications Framework. The project responds to the need for the necessary development of a sector register, where the various stakeholders will be able to obtain in a single place the information of interest to them on the current training offer, on the institutions that offer education and learning, as well as verify which learning outcomes can be acquired within a specific training topic. Furthermore, the planned register will be interoperable with other national registers of the partner countries (Italy, Poland and Cyprus) and with the Europass platform using the standards of the European learning model: it will offer non-formal education training courses, including the so-called microqualifications, with a emphasis on practical knowledge and using Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality learning tools and methods.
