1 – THE SECOND PHASE
The second phase will start after the preparatory meeting and will end before the festival.
During this period the project partnership will prepare all that is necessary for the realisation of the festival in September 2006.
In this period all interested young movie makers (under 35 years old) could present their application to participate at the festival.
2 - WHO CAN PRESENT THE APPLICATION
The participants will be only young, amateur and professional movie makers under 35 years old.
All interested participants will have to complete the application that you can unload from the web site until 1st August 2006 (please read carefully RULE FESTIVAL) to give the possibility to make a selection of all realised movies.
Movies have to arrive to the address of the international coordinator at the latest 7th August 2006: this means that all movies that should arrive after this time limit will be not considered valid for the festival (so they could participate only as video out of competition if there will be space and time for them.
After the selection, the jury will decide which film maker can participate at festival and will invite from 1 to 3 young people for that film (depending from the number of films received).
All movies admitted will be presented and judged at festival (without any difference between those coming from partners and those coming from other organisms).
3 - SELECTION OF PARTICIPANTS
Selection will take into consideration age, gender, geographical, ethnic/linguistic background, movies categories and previous experiences in the filed of film direction ensuring balance and diversity to have different visions on the same categories.
In case of necessity (if free places should remain after the country selection, it will be possible to admit also participants from other countries not initially foreseen.
All participants will be informed about selection until 15th August 2006 by e-mail (results will be also published in internet web site).
All selected participants have to notify their travel details and costs before 25th August 2006 to organize their accommodations.
It is possible to support the costs only for the first 27 participants in hotel.
After the first 27 reservations, the interested participants must pay all accommodation cost by theirselves.
4 - FESTIVAL PARTICIPATION FEE
Fees are different for participants that:
A) 27 authors hosted by Festival (following the list)
B) all other participants not hosted
A) 27 AUTHORS HOSTED BY FESTIVAL
The selected participants will be invited to participate personally at Festival in Potenza from 6th to 11th September 2006.
They will receive:
- travel cost reimbursement at 50% (maximum total travel cost is Euro 426).
- free accommodation in hotel (breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
The reimbursement of travel costs will be done the last day of the festival before participants departure or later by bank transfert.
They have to pay a small fee of participation of Euro 50,00 that will be detracted from travel reimbursement.
B) ALL OTHER PARTICIPANTS NOT HOSTED
- for short movies coming from foreign countries (non produced in Italy),the entry at Festival is free (to contribuite at high post costs).
- for short movies coming from Italy, there is a cost of Euro 15,00 for Secretary expenses. The author or producer can participate with more videos (max one for each category), paying only one entry fee . A copy of payment must be attaches (scanned) to mail of pre-selection and then send together with the video and other requested materials.
The payment must be done with bank payment
(see below for details).
If they want they can participate also personally at festival paying all travel and accommodation costs by theirselves: in this case, please, contact our secretariat at the following e-mail reference, indicating your intention.
The secretariat will realise your hotel reservation and will indicate what to do.

RULES FOR TRAVEL REIMBURSEMENT
To obtain the travel reimbursement of 50% of cost (maximum total travel cost is Euro 426) each participant must provide:
- original invoice (with stamp of travel agency that confirm the payment done)
- original tickets of flight and train or bus
- original board cards
